“I spent the first half of my life in the Philippines and Singapore and then later moved to Southern California for the second half. I am led and influenced greatly by my family–two older sisters and brothers-in-law, Andrea and Ryan (and their beautiful baby boy Wyatt), Daniella and Dallas, and my incredible parents, Jorge and Carmeli. I graduated last May from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Jesus has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember but a truer, rawer relationship with Jesus began to blossom once I reached college. My journey with him is going to be a lifelong process of seeking and finding. I came on board with Emerge and Medialight because as a student last October and November, I have never felt more free. The liberation that occurred in my heart because of Jesus, the people, and experiences of Medialight made it so easy for me to stay.
In January 2015 I decided to move to Chiang Rai, Thailand to jump on board the Emerge train. I love everything Emerge and Medialight does and wanted so greatly to be a part of it. Not to mention, I get to do it alongside my second family, my best friend, and the most compassionate human beings. That is what makes my role meaningful to me–the people I get to serve with.
There is a fire in the hearts of those involved with Emerge, a fire of passionate people who truly want to expand God’s kingdom that continues to spread. I have just started my time here with Emerge but in this role I hope I am able to expand our arms to people who truly have a desire to be equipped with media missionary skills. I want to fuel and build fires in others, empowering them to be the people they were created to be, difference makers and world shakers.”
